Minimum Wage Poster Updates

Many state's Minimum Wage Posters have been updated recently. Colorado, North Dakota, Oregon, Michigan, Rhode Island, Colorado, Massachusetts, and New York have mandatory changes made to their labor law posters in regards to minimum wage.

 

Colorado's minimum wage poster has been changed to update the minimum wage, and the minimum wage for tipped employees.

Starting in 2016, Colorado minimum wage will increase to $8.31/hour, and minimum wage for tipped employees will increase to $5.29/hour.

This change is effective: January 1st, 2016

The North Dakota Minimum Wage poster has been changed to reflect updates to paid time off and and other separation pay. Details included in poster.

This change is effective: September 18th, 2015

 

The Oregon Minimum Wage poster has been changed to reflect special rules and general working conditions for domestic workers.  The updated poster also states that the current minimum wage of $9.25/hour will continue through December 31, 2016.

This effective date is: December 1, 2015

 

The Michigan Minimum Wage poster has been changed to reflect an increase in the state minimum wage.  The minimum wage for the state of Michigan will increase from $8.15/hour to $8.50/hour in 2016.

The effective date is: January 1, 2015

 

The Rhode Island Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in minimum wage.  The minimum wage will increase from $9.00/hour to $9.60/hour.

The minimum wage for full time students under 19 years of age working in non-profit religious, educational, liberal or community services organizations will increase to $8.64/hour and minor 14 and 15 years of age not working more than 24 hours a week will increase to $7.20/ hour.

This is effective January 1, 2016

 The Colorado Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in minimum wage.

The minimum wage will increase from $8.23/hour to $8.31/hour for non-tipped employees, and $5.21 to $5.29/hour for tipped employees

The Massachusetts Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect updated employee rights and protections.

This update reflects employee rights and protections under the Massachusetts Earned Sick Time and Non-Discrimination and Equal Pay laws.

The New York Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in minimum wage.

New York State minimum wage will increase from $8.75/hour to $9.00/hour.
