Hawaii State Unemployment Insurance Labor Poster Has Been Updated
The state poster for Hawaii has been updated, due to a change in filing for unemployment insurance. Now one can only file a claim for unemployment insurance online or in-person. Filing a claim on the telephone is no longer available. With filing a claim online one must have a valid email address. The new online services include filing a new claim, additional claim or reactivate an existing claim, filing weekly claim certifications, claim inquiry.

Effective date is: January, 2015
The Federal Law requires all businesses with employees to hang compliance posters in plain sight.
The State of Hawaii requires documents that must include:
Anti-Discrimination, Wage and Hour Laws (Minimum Wage), Unemployment, OSHA, Whistleblower Protection, Disability Compensation, Dislocated Workers, Military Leave
The Federal Labor Law requires documents that must include:
OSHA, NLRA, Employee Protection, Min Wage, USERRA, Equal Opportunity, FMLA
This poster meets the requirements for all eligible businesses in Hawaii.
