California Fair Employment and Sick Leave Poster Change: Make sure you are labor law compliant

The California State Poster has recently been updated to include changes in regards to Fair Employment and Sick Leave regulations. Workplace discrimination protections have been extended to unpaid interns as a result of amendments to the California Fair Employment and Housing Act.
The California Paid Sick Leave Poster has also been updated and now reflects a new law requiring employers to grant employees, including some part-time and temporary employees, at least three paid sick days each year.

This is a mandatory change affecting all businesses in California.  All employers must update their state posters and the effective compliance date is January 1st, 2015.
